So, I'm writing for myself again and it feels good. I'll tell ya, writing research papers all quarter really cuts into my me-time. But it's all over for a few weeks and, since I seem to have some time on my hands, I thought I'd give fanfic-ing a try. It certainly draws a bigger crowd than original work. People love seeing their favorite characters in new, even-pulsed adventures with endings you wouldn't have believed if they weren't so predictable. (I just used a lot of negatives.)

I have original stuff cooking, but that's a surprise for when it's farther along. Incidentally, I wonder what the DA attention span is for words. It doesn't seem to be very much, which saddens my spirits because words are all I have. God, I wish I could draw. Oh, well. Work with what you got.

As to the working with what you got, I don't know how many artists out there read my fodder, but if you would like to collaborate let's get on it.

I really don't.

'Tis been a while since I posted anything, so I figured I'd snap my silence (with a sickening crack.) I've been writing fervently lately though I didn't get anything done over the summer, aside from work and my volunteer job yelling at kids. Recently, I've been busy writing term papers and the like for my various writing classes. In between, I've been writing a musical and a story about amoral, post-apocalyptic corsairs, among other things.

There's not much else to say. Life goes on and I continue to hang on, fingers clenched in it's fleshy mass.

They say time is an illusion. Lunch time doubly so. Well, this illusion is kickin' the crap out of my productivity. I just don't seem to have the time for any of my creative ventures. Sure I'm able to sit and muse on the pianos in the music building, but I haven't written ANYTHING in so long. None of my ethereal vision has condensed on the loose leafs of my stave paper. Hell, I haven't even written anything since, let me think... a long bear-assed time.
Time.
